Henry Reyna is a master firearms trainer and self-defense instructor who’s passionate about giving people the training and tools they need to protect themselves and their families from those who would do them harm.

As 34-year veteran law enforcement officer, he saw the best and worst that humanity has to offer. Now, he draws on his experiences as a former police instructor of Pressure Points and Control Tactics (PPCT), edged weapon defense, ground fighting, and firearms to help his students build the confidence they need to have a planned response for any life-threatening situation.

Reyna continues to sharpen his skills at national shooting schools and attend trainings – such as specialized instruction for women – to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in personal protection. As a result, he’s currently the most active NRA firearms instructor in the Great Lakes Bay Region—having trained more than 12,000 students through the years.

Through Secure Solution LLC, the company he founded in 2008, he offers courses across Mid-Michigan in self-defense for women and children, CPL training and advanced handgun classes, surviving an active shooter and responding to other acts of violence.

Reyna is just as passionate about helping businesses keep their employees and customers safe while also reducing their vulnerabilities and limiting their liability exposure. Clients span all industries and include multi-national Fortune 500 companies and smaller businesses, as well as churches, schools, clubs, and other nonprofit organizations.

As a Saginaw Township police officer, Reyna was responsible for investigating homicides, burglaries, armed robberies, and sexual assaults. He became a certified crime prevention specialist trained in the use of lighting, alarms, and surveillance cameras—eventually earning several commendations for outstanding performance in solving home burglaries, along with the Chief's Commendation for Outstanding Performance in the crime prevention unit.
